Summary: Awesome bag! 2010-09-08
Comment: This is a great bag. FYI in response to all the reviews about broken zipper pulls.....I talked to a JJ Cole customer service rep before I bought the bag about this issue after reading reviews. They said they did have a batch of bad zipper pulls and it has been amended. Additionally, there is a 2 YEAR warranty on these things! He said they would be happy to replace if I still had a problem. There you go!

Summary: good luck; disappointing quality 2010-09-07
Comment: I was getting my bag together as I was a couple months from the birth of my son when it arrived when the zipper for the mp3 player broke. I literally had the bag for a few days sitting in my room, then picked it up to get it ready for baby, and voila--brokenness and no packaging to return it. Bummer. At least it's good looking...

Summary: Great Bag But.... 2010-08-10
Comment: The Bag itself is awesome as well as the changing pad and pacifier holder. The changing pad was especially useful on the airplane as you can just tuck a couple of diapers in the pocket with the wipes instead of taking the whole diaper bag into the tiny restrooms. The bag itself holds a TON. The reason for the 3 star review is that the zipper pulls break off and leave sharp edges and pretty much leaves the bag useless as its a pain to zip/unzip without the pulls. It doesn't even make it possible to put a string through as part of the zipper pull stays on. This isn't a one time occurrence either. My best friend has the same bag and the zipper pulls broke off on hers too.

Summary: Love, love, love, love, love it! 2010-07-23
Comment: Awesome bag! It's a lot of money, but it's definitely worth it! Sits snuggly on your shoulder due to it's amazing padding, has an endless amount of compartments, is waterproof, partly insulated, and most importantly: IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A TYPICAL DIAPER BAG! I went for it after realizing that this will be replacing my purse for the next I-don't-know-how-many-years... lol This is something I can easily see myself with in a year or two (maybe even more in case we have more kids after this one ;)).

Comment: I just got this in the mail. I bought Blue Vine.

I was regretting spending so much on a diaper bag, but as soon as I saw it I realized why it was pricier than the cheaper ones I've seen in the store. The first thing we noticed was the high quality of the bag, especially the shoulder padding on the bag. It looks like it could really be helpful when the bag is heavy. The material looks like it will clean out well if something gets spilled, and the outside is waterproof which would contain any spills. The bag is full of all kinds of regular pockets and zipped pockets and this will give me a lot of choices in how I want to arrange things in the bag. The front flap over the "wallet organizer" area has a strong magnet in it that keeps it shut well. I probably will just throw my wallet into the bag, but an ID, cards and cash would fit nicely in the zippered pockets and would not be easy for someone to steal. There is a velcro closed big pocket in the back that I will likely use to store the wetbag, as we will be using cloth diapers and have to store them until we take them home to wash them. It looks like it would wash out well if any spills should happen and would keep the mess out of the main part.

The changing pad is really nice and is covered with a clear plastic on the inside. There are pockets on the outside for storing wipes or whatever. It attaches by a snap to the metal ring on the outside of the bag, but you could probably store it in the bag if you wanted.

This bag and everything in it is supposed to be pvc and phthalate free. The clear plastic in the changing pad did not have that "new shower curtain smell" so there is a good chance it really is not vinyl. I wrote a letter to the company to make sure that plastic truly is phthalate and pvc free. You don't want your baby around that stuff. I am really happy someone made a high quality bag without using those toxic chemicals.

The pacifier bag is also cute and velcros on to the metal ring.

The bag comes with rubber type stroller attachments so you can hang it off the stroller. Obviously you might not hang it off the stroller if it is very heavy. It probably would be fine, though, if you just are keeping diapers, wipes, and some clothes in it.

There are two places on the sides to put bottles or things like that, one of which is insulated to keep the bottle warm. We are using skinny glass bottles and I think they would definitely fit in there.

The print is somewhat feminine, but my DH says he won't mind wearing it at all if he has to. He likes that he can wear it like a messenger bag. I tried to pick something he and I could both take turns wearing.
