Summary: JP Lizzy quality but not my favorite style 2007-10-21
Comment: I love JP Lizzy's totes and I think they are quality bags. They are practical and have a good designer look. With that said, I prefer the Mint Tote or the Strawberry Tote. This one didn't look as nice to me in person and I am going to return it for the Mint Tote.

Summary: Almost perfect 2007-05-22
Comment: I was disappointed with a few attributes of this bag. The material used to make the diaper bag is not cloth and has a cheap feel. The main zipper, which doesn't connect to the bag on both sides, contributes to this feeling and the asking price, in my opinion, is much too high.
Aside from those issues, the diaper bag is just about perfect. It is a great size, not too big or too small. I love the printed pattern on the outside of the bag, but assumed it was made of cloth, as many bags in this price range are. Instead it is made of the same wipeable material as the inside of every other diaper bag I've owned, including this one. This bag was purchased for baby #3, so we've been through a few diaper bags. I was looking for a fabric diaper bag with a "grown up" feel to it. This bag doesn't feel like a practically hundred dollar diaper bag. We got it at half price and I almost sent it back thinking it was priced too high. Had we paid full price, we definitely would have sent it back. The zipper, which doesn't attached to the bag on one end, gives the appearance of cheapness or flimsiness, although there have been no incidence with it thus far.
I do love many things about this bag. The metal `feet' on the bottom keep the bag itself from ever touching the ground, so it doesn't get scuffed or worn. The matching changing pad has come in very handy. There is also a detachable pouch included, which we've used for dirty diaper storage when we're on-the-go and not near a garbage can. The many pockets inside are great for snacks, hand sanitizer and other on-the-go essentials. So far, the bag has proven to be durable.
If we had paid the $98 asking price, we would have sent this bag back. This is simply not a $98 bag. That being said, at $45, this bag gets 4 stars. Aside from the material and the zipper, we really have no complaints about it. If it lasts 2 years, when we out grow a full-size diaper bag, it will definitely be worth the price!
