The Skip Hop Via messenger is an amazingly organized and functional diaper bag with a super sleek style. With 18 pockets, the Via Messenger has spots for everything you and baby need when you hit the road. There are bottle pockets, compartments for food, cups, toys and more. There?s also a special AgION antimicrobial pocket to help keep germs away from your clean things. The Via Messenger includes the new Shuttle Clips; a unique strap and fastening system that allows the Via to attach neatly and conveniently to the handlebars of any stroller and then convert into a cool, hip messenger-style diaper bag. When attached to the stroller, you can leave the shoulder strap attached or remove it for a cleaner look. The Via messenger also includes magnetic closures throughout and a comfy shoulder pad.

Summary: Great but didn't wear well 2010-08-15
Comment: We had the version of this bag from 4 years ago from our first child, so we naturally went with the improved version of the same bag, this messenger bag. Our little one is only 5 months old, and the bag is fraying inside and out at every lining seam there is. Whereas, the old version was used a lot more (because always stuffing too much stuff in the bag with your firstborn), this one was used much lighter, yet didn't hold up at all. On the outside, it still looks great, but the inside is all torn up and messy. We are still using it out of laziness of having to search for a new bag, so it's not unusable, but it is getting a little annoying.

Comment: I was so excited when I received this bag as a gift at my shower. I had read so many great things about it. I was especially a fan of the stroller straps and the fact that it was a bag I knew my husband would carry. Unfortunately it is just not big enough in the main pocket especially if you cloth diaper. After 3 months of trying to cram diapers, an extra outfit, wipes and bottles it has finally given out on me. The inside pockets are tearing away from the inside of the bag. Very disappointing. I am on the search for a better bag for cloth diapering

Comment: This bag is beautiful!! Just what I was looking for. This bag is definitely high quality and very practical I think. I absolutely love the stroller clip/straps to make it so much easier on outings. I know people think it is a little narrow, but it is again so much more practical that way when is it hanging on the stroller and it is plenty big for my baby's needs.

Comment: I love Skip Hop Diaper bags! I had been using the Skip Hop Dash Deluxe Diaper bag for the past 2 years and I loved that one--I think this one is even BETTER! It holds a LOT more stuff and I absolutely love how they designed it--there are tons of zipper pouches all over the outside and a few on the inside--which I think makes for a more organized bag! When you need something small it's easier to grab it from the zipper pouch than having to dig for it! I got the lime green color!(on sale) I am about to have my second baby and I am so excited, this bag will accomodate all of my toddler's stuff and my new baby's things as well--and it's a lightweight bag so it won't break my arm! I am totally impressed--Skip Hop is the BEST!

That aside, I like the bag. At first I didn't think it would hold enough, especially since I'm cloth diapering, but it works for several-hour outings. Longer days out require a whole separate bag.
