Summary: Flimsy, flimsy shelves 2008-09-08
Comment: The shelves (and by "shelves" I include the shelf that holds the changing pad) are -maybe- 1/16th of an inch thick - I didn't actually measure them, but I can bend the shelves using marginal pressure by hand (after putting the thing together).
While it claims to be good for "newborn to 2.5 years", I'm a bit afraid to put my newborn on it - we'll be keeping a close eye on him, for sure.

Summary: VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS TABLE 2007-01-24
Comment: I am very unhappy with this changing table. It arrived without holes needed for proper assembly in the part that goes in the back of the shelf. But that was only the beginning. When my child was about 4 months old I put him on the table as usual to get his diaper changed and it just broke in the middle (my son is average weight for his age). Thankfully, the shelf under the top of the table was able to support my son long enough for me to catch him. I stopped using this table as a changing table and only used it for my baby's clothes. A few months later, ALL shelves were coming off at least on one of the sides, without even me putting anything heavy on them.
